The Star Of This Cocktail Can Be Found On Your Thanksgiving Table

Thanksgiving leftovers are not just for meals the next day, you can also use them for cocktails. OK, let’s be realistic — I am not talking about mashed potato and gravy cocktails. But what I am talking about is leftover cranberry sauce.

Cranberry sauce is sweet, tart and full of flavor which will make both a tasty and festive beverage. I love making margaritas with cranberry sauce as the earthiness from the tequila and tart from the cranberry goes so well together. Here is your perfect leftover margarita.

Cranberry Sauce Margarita

Ingredients
1.5 ounces Blanco Tequila
1.5 tablespoons of fresh cranberry sauce*
½ ounce of lime juice
½ ounce Cointreau
Garnish: Cranberries

Method
Add all ingredients to a shaker
Shake then strain into glass over ice
Garnish with cranberries
Serves one

*Note: Depending on how sweet your cranberry sauce is you may need to add some agave syrup to adjust and balance.
