Maker’s Mark, Le Creuset Are Teaming Up For This Unique Dining Experience

While travel and dining experiences have been hard to come by this year, Maker’s Mark and Le Creuset aren’t letting a pandemic stop them from putting together a totally unique (and socially-distant!) dining event. The duo is teaming up for a food and beverage pairing inside a Hobbit House in Rhode Island.

The Maker’s Mark Hobbit House at the Preserve, located in Richmond, RI, is designed to be amazing treat from beginning to end. The menu pairs grilled food items with Maker’s Mark bourbon varieties, allowing you to enjoy the intricacies and nuances of the bourbon, while expanding upon those flavor notes with a curated, complementary cuisine. And, the dinner takes it a step further, creating fresh sauces and glazes for the bites from the bourbon as well.

And, it gets better. Each course is artfully prepared using Le Creuset, one of the most iconic cookware names in enameled cast iron. Dishes include wild game sausage, bourbon-glazed quail, Le Creuset-style cornbread and a mouth-watering winter berry cobbler with Maker’s Mark caramel sauce. The drink selections include Maker’s Mark 46, cask strength, and a “preserve reserve” private selection.

Gather around a custom-designed Maker’s Mark wood table — repurposed from former whisky barrels — for dinner and pairings, then unwind around the fire pit under the stars.

The four-course lunch and dinner pairings are available now and also include red and white wines along with the bourbon. The dinners are available for up to eight people.
