These Are Some Of The New Hard Seltzers You Should Get Your Hands On

Hard seltzers moved into the beverage category hard in 2019. The adult beverage took advantage of the mindful drinking movement and the continued healthy lifestyle effort.

The segment continues to grow, with more companies entering the hard seltzer game with new flavors, styles and more. We rounded up a few of the new ones worth trying this year, whether you’re hitting the beach, the pool or hanging in the yard with your pandemic pod.

AriZona

AriZona Iced Tea will be heading into the warmer months with the release of its new AriZona SunRise Hard Seltzer. The new boozy beverage is a hard seltzer made with a splash of real fruit. SunRise Hard Seltzer will be available in four AriZona juice flavors, including Mucho Mango, Cherry Punch, Lemon and Grapefruit. It will be available in a variety pack and single-serve cans. Serving up 100 calories per can, it is also gluten free, low in carbs and contains no added sugar.

Bud Light

Bud Light Seltzer announced its expansion to their delicious hard seltzer portfolio with the launch of the new vacation-inspired Bud Light Seltzer “Out Of Office” seasonal variety pack inclusive of four brand new flavors: Watermelon Mojito, Classic Margarita, Mango Mai Tai and Strawberry Daiquiri. Just like the original Bud Light Seltzer flavors which have come before it, the new Bud Light Seltzer Out Of Office variety pack is made with cane sugar, natural fruit flavors and no artificial sweeteners using a unique five-step filtration process. Each flavor has 5% ABV, less than 1 gram of sugar and 100 calories. 

Cacti

With the support of musician Travis Scott, AB InBev has launch Cacti, an agave-flavored spiked seltzer. The sippers are available in lime, pineapple, and strawberry.

Crook & Marker

The brand’s Spiked & Sparkling hard seltzer was designed, “for people who don’t like hard seltzer,” the company says. With 80 calories per can, this brand is available in eight flavors, including coconut pineapple; blackberry lime; strawberry lemon; tangerine; black cherry; grapefruit; mango and peach. 

Karbach Brewing Co.

Karbach’s Ranch Water is the perfect blend of hard seltzer with lime and agave that can simmer down any heatwave. It has 4.5% ABV and 90 calories and can be paired with fajitas, pulled pork, shrimp tacos, ceviche, and chips and guacamole.  

Kona Brewing Co.

This beer company from Hawaii is bringing its hard seltzer nationwide this April. The Spiked Island Seltzer variety includes tropical punch, starfruit lime, strawberry guava and passionfruit orange guava. Sparkling bubbles, enticing aromas, and juicy flavors bring the islands right to you.

Michelob Ultra

Michelob Ultra Organic Seltzer is expanding its offering with the launch of its Classic Collection featuring three new flavors – Mixed Berry, Citrus and Mango Apricot – uniquely made with real, organic fruit juice. It has 90 calories, 2 carbs and 0 added sugar. 

Molson Coors

Not to be outdone, Molson Coors will debut a ready-to-drink sparkling cocktail/seltzer hybrid. Each made with a different spirit, flavors will include Vodka Seltzer with Lime, Whiskey Seltzer with Blackberry Lemon, Rum Seltzer with Mango Pineapple, and Tequila Seltzer with Grapefruit. 

Roadhouse Brewing

Roadhouse Brewing Co. debuts Seltzy, a new line of 4% ABV handcrafted hard seltzers. It is offered in three unique, artisanal flavors: Kicked Back: Cucumber-Lychee, The Crush: Huckleberry-Lingonberry, and The Chill: Ginger-Lime. Created with Teton water, zero carbs, zero gluten, no added sugar and only 90 calories, each can delivers a purity of flavor that’s right at home in the great wide open. 

Sonic

Sonic (yes, the fast food chain) is trying to make “seltzer summers” into “Sonic summers” with the launch of its new hard seltzer collection. The line includes fan favorites like Cherry Limeade, Original Limeade and Ocean Water. They will be sold in two variety packs; Citrus and Tropical. Look for them on store shelves beginning on May 1.

Spindrift Spiked

Coming this Spring, the king of sparkling water (and we do not say that lightly) is debuting Spindrift Spiked. The new boozy beverage promises a clean-tasting alcoholic base with only 82 to 95 calories per can, and has 4% ABV. The new hard sparkling water line uses a 10-day fermentation process to maximize ABV without additives, as well as an ultra-filtration process which purifies at the molecular level. The new line will be available in 12 fl oz cans and launch with four delicious flavors: Mango, Lime, Pineapple and Half & Half.

Topo Chico

The beloved sparkling mineral water is officially bringing its new hard seltzer to the market. The sipper will be available in Tangy Lemon Lime, Exotic Pineapple, Strawberry Guava and Tropical Mango. It has a 4.7% alcohol by volume (ABV) and is made with purified sparkling water, a gluten-free alcohol base and natural flavors.

Truly 

Truly Hard Seltzer launched Truly Extra Hard Seltzer, a delicious and refreshing hard seltzer that clocks in at 8% ABV, giving drinkers an extra kick. Truly Extra Hard Seltzer is available nationwide in 16oz single-serve cans of Black Raspberry and Peach Mango.
