The Roanoke Times has reported that Blacksburg, VA-based Gourmet Pantry will be closing its doors. Owner Roya Gharavi has decided to shutter the business after an unsuccessful attempt to identify a buyer for it. She also tried to find a home for Gourmet Pantry in another town with stronger foot traffic, but that also didn’t come to fruition.
The news outlet noted that the store will be open until the end of the month. While a new retail operation is planned for the former kitchenwares store space, Gharavi said that she is planning to operate her other businesses and start writing another cookbook.
