Motivated by the great journalists of his teenage years, Dave’s journey in media began with writing and editing then quickly shifted to the business side. Advertising account management positions with enthusiast and business media brands led Dave to co-founding a business media company specializing in gourmet kitchenware, housewares and hospitality.
Dave credits time spent as a child with his maternal grandmother for his love of Italian food, and for priming his passion for red wine when she gave him a little sip of grandpa’s homemade Chianti. When off duty, Dave enjoys his wine cellar, dining in and out and a fine cigar. Or a beer and hot dog at Wrigley Field watching his beloved Cubs.
Chief Operating Officer
Peter, a 35-year journalist and publishing executive, has directed editorial content, marketing development and publishing operations for leading print and digital media brands specializing in the businesses of gourmet kitchenware, barware, tableware, design and hospitality. When Peter isn’t trying (often in vain) to perfect classic rock riffs on one of too many guitars, you might find him on the patio of his Long Island golf club enjoying crispy hot wings, a hoppy pint of craft IPA and a fine, full-bodied cigar.
Chief Technology Officer
As a veteran graphic and technology executive, Eliud has spent the past two+ decades honing his craft by producing myriad websites, magazines, videos, and the like—in both the consumer and trade spaces.
While enjoying the perpetual pursuit of inspiration, downtime is often spent as an automotive and photography enthusiast, studying the subtle romance between beautiful, clever design and engineering within things mechanical and digital.
Chief Content Officer
A writer and editor for 13 years, Emily specializes in food, beverage and housewares. Bylines in VinePair, Forbes, Chowhound, Liquor.com and others. She has also held staff positions in both trade and consumer publications, for a major television brand, and as a hard news reporter.
When she’s not writing about food and beverage, she’s enjoying food and beverage. An avid home cook and bartender, Emily takes cooking classes, mixology courses and is always trying new recipes on the regular. However, she prefers to be at a restaurant eating oysters and sipping a fabulous wine. The people watching is better there, too.
