When she’s not writing about food and beverage, she’s enjoying food and beverage. An avid home cook and “cocktail specialist” (her words, not ours!), Emily takes cooking classes, mixology courses, watches James Suckling’s wine MasterClass on repeat and is always trying new recipes. However, she prefers to be at a restaurant eating oysters and sipping a fabulous wine. The people watching is better there, too.

After spending several years as a journalist in both the tech and hospitality space, CJ now owns his own consulting company, CJ Media Solutions, LLC. Experienced in hosting panel discussions and roundtables, CJ decided to take that experience to the mic, starting his first podcast, “The Crisis Averted.”
A lover of great oysters and a properly-made Manhattan, CJ has crossed into the food + beverage industry while also flexing that very perfect podcast voice as the host of “The Gourmet Insider” podcast.
