While the Cosmopolitan was born in the 1980s, the cocktail reached the height of its fame during HBO’s original “Sex And The City” run. It was the drink of choice for girl’s night, as Carrie Bradshaw, Samantha Jones, Charlotte York and Miranda Hobbes were frequently spotted with a round (or two!) of Cosmos while dishing out all the dirty (and not so dirty) details of their lives.
And just like that, the women are back… and so is this cocktail. After an absence from the small screen, Carrie, Miranda and Charlotte are getting ready to take over New York yet again, and we hope a round of Cosmos is with them. But, this is a reboot, after all, so in order to pay homage to the past while also moving into the future, FINLANDIA Vodka has given us a few new, trendy Cosmo recipes to create at home for the premiere of “And Just Like That.”
Whether you’re all about the original or ready for a reboot, here are five Cosmo recipes that will make your viewing party fabulous… just like that.

Add sugar citric acid and tartaric acid, stir until sugar is dissolved and simmer for three minutes. Remove from heat and add lime juice. Pour juice through a fine sieve, if you want a clearer, less cloudy cordial. Bring to a boil and simmer for another two minutes. Remove from heat and allow to cool. *This makes quite a bit of lime cordial (about 1.75 liters), so make sure you have enough bottles sterilized. Old whiskey or liquor bottles are good.
