Since the custom, craft coffee craze hit fever pitch, Starbucks has always been a seasonal drink recipe go-to. Now, its newly-released Apple Crisp Macchiato has been buzzing. But, as much as we can give up just about anything to get our Starbucks fix, some days, it’s just not possible. And other days our bank account just says, “no.”
Now, TAZO tea is helping us all out with this deviously delicious copycat recipe! Simple to make and easy to dress up with some seasonal garnishes, you can serve this at your next brunch or curl up with a hot cup and a book in the evening.
Ingredients:
- ½ cup Boiling Water
- 1 TAZO Organic Baked Cinnamon Apple Tea Bag
- ¼ cup Apple Cider
- 1 tbsp Ginger Honey Syrup (recipe below!)
- ¼ cup Frothed Unsweetened Oat Milk
Directions:
Steep tea for 5 mins in 1/2 cup of water.
Next, warm Apple Cider on a stove top or microwave.
Mix tea, ginger honey syrup, and apple cider into a large mug and top with frothed milk.
Garnish, if desired, with a cinnamon dusted apple slice.
*Ginger Honey Syrup Recipe: Mix 2 tbsp fresh ginger, ¼ cup hot water, ¼ cup honey and stir until honey is dissolved. Note this will yield approximately ⅓ cup syrup and can be stored in the fridge for future usage.
