After a year of not traveling and being stuck in the Seattle rain, I have dreamed of an island vacation to Hawaii. Hawaii was the last place I visited for vacation, which was the inspiration behind this shandy style cocktail.
I love sipping beer on the beach and wanted to create a fun beer cocktail that is perfect for warmer weather. This cocktail is low-ABV and has a base of sherry, which mixes perfectly with the notes of the grapefruit juice. The strawberry syrup and golden ale are the perfect addition for sipping all summer long on the porch. Say ‘Aloha’ to this shandy!
