12 Spring Spritz Recipes That Add Sparkle To The Season

Mom. The person in your life who is there for you whenever you’re sad, happy, worried, and is always on your side. How do you begin to celebrate her or him (let’s be honest some parents pull double duty) on the one day dedicated to them — Mother’s Day?

Well, it can be with oodles of homemade crafts (throwback to spaghetti necklaces) or maybe a day of pampering. But, mom should always be served up a beautiful spritz to reflect the queen she is. And this year, we’re here to help. 

Whether you two are doing a fancy meal at home or maybe just cocktails in the backyard we’ve rounded up 12 awesome spritz cocktail recipes you need to spoil her with. With the spring weather blooming, we couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate than with a bubbly, delicious, and simple cocktail she is sure to love.

  • 2 oz Brut Champagne
  • 1 ½ oz St-Germain Elderflower Liqueur
  • 2 oz Sparkling Water

Instructions: Fill a tall Collins glass with ice. Add Champagne first, then St-Germain, then Club Soda. Stir completely and then garnish with a lemon twist.

Prep: Lemon twist for a garnish 


  • 1 ½ oz D’USSE VSOP Cognac 
  • ¾ oz St-Germain Elderflower Liqueur 
  • Top Martini & Rossi Prosecco

Method: Add D’USSE and St-Germain Elderflower Liqueur into a shaker with ice. Shake and strain into a champagne flute. Top with chilled Martini & Rossi Prosecco.

  • 1½ oz Chambord Liqueur
  • 4 oz dry white wine
  • Soda water

Instructions: Take a large wine glass and fill it up with ice. Add Chambord, white wine and soda.

  • 1.5oz Castle & Key Roots of Ruin Gin
  • 4 fresh mint leaves
  • 1tbsp of sugar
  • 2oz Prosecco

Instructions: Combine all ingredients in a large balloon glass with ice, stir and garnish with fresh mint leaves.

  • 1 oz Reyka Vodka 
  • 1/2 oz Aperol 
  • 1/2 oz Honey Syrup (1:1) 
  • 1/4 oz Fresh Lemon Juice 
  • Top with Champagne or Prosecco 

Instructions: Combine all ingredients into a cocktail shaker. Serve in flute, top with champagne or prosecco and garnish with a lemon peel.

  • 1 1/2 oz Milagro Select Reposado
  • 1/2 oz Solerno Blood Orange
  • 1/2 oz agave nectar
  • 1/2 oz ruby red grapefruit juice
  • 1/2 oz fresh lime juice
  • 2 oz pink Prosecco
  • Grapefruit or blood orange peel

Instructions: Combine all ingredients except prosecco and shake well. Strain into a champagne flute. Top with prosecco and garnish with grapefruit or blood orange peel.

  • 1 ½ oz Monkey Shoulder
  • ½ oz Aperol 
  • ½ oz honey syrup
  • ¾ oz fresh grapefruit juice
  • Top with soda
  • Grapefruit twist

Instructions: Combine all ingredients except soda in shaker, shake and strain over ice in Collins glass. Top with soda (Topo Chico if available). Garnish with grapefruit twist.

  • 1 hibiscus flower in syrup
  • ½ oz Blue Mountain Gin
  • ½ oz Blood Orange Cointreau
  • Top with chilled Prosecco

Directions: Layer ingredients starting with the hibiscus flower syrup in champagne flute. Then top with Prosecco and enjoy.

  • 1/4 oz fresh lemon juice
  • 1/4 oz apricot liqueur
  • 1 oz apple cider
  • 1 oz apple brandy
  • 2 oz Mionetto Prestige Prosecco DOC Treviso Brut
  • Angostura bitters (optional)
  • Apple slices for garnish

Instructions: Combine lemon juice, apricot liqueur, apple cider and apple brandy in a mixing glass. Ice then, shake. Strain into a highball glass over fresh ice. Top with Mionetto Prosecco. Stir all the ingredients together and top the cocktail with apple slices and a few drops of bitters.

  • 3 ozs Ruffino Prosecco
  • 1 oz pineapple juice
  • ¾ oz Aperol
  • ¾ oz lime juice
  • Lime wheel

Instructions: Combine ingredients into a wine glass with ice. Garnish with a lime wheel.

  • 3 oz. La Marca Prosecco
  • 2 oz. E. & J. Peach Brandy
  • ¾ oz. lemon juice
  • ½ oz. simple syrup
  • ½ oz. orange liqueur
  • Lemons

Instructions: Shake all ingredients except La Marca. Strain into a martini glass while simultaneously pouring in your Prosecco. Garnish with a twist of lemon peel.

  • 1½ oz. La Marca Prosecco
  • 1½ oz. aged rum
  • ½ oz. lime juice
  • ½ oz. simple syrup
  • 10 mint leaves

Instructions: Muddle the mint and shake all ingredients except La Marca. Strain into a coupe glass while simultaneously pouring in your Prosecco. Garnish with a mint sprig.
