Thirsty? Here’s Your Long Weekend Sipping Guide

We hate to be the bearer of bad news but… we have officially entered September. This means summer is almost (extra emphasis on the almost) over. While we may be holding back tears this weekend, we have the perfect list of drinks for your Labor Day weekend plans. We mixed in a little bit of everything to ensure your last weekend of Summer ‘21 is one for the books.

Classic Fiero Spritz

Ingredients:

  • 2oz. Martini & Rossi Fiero
  • 2oz. Martini & Rossi Prosecco
  • 1 oz. Club Soda
  • Ice

Instructions: Pour directly into glass over ice and stir. Garnish with your preference of a lemon, grapefruit, or orange peel


Blue Cenote

Ingredients: 

  • 1 ½ oz Herradura Silver Tequila 
  • ½ ounce blue curaçao 
  • 1 ounce lime juice 
  • 1 ounce pineapple juice 
  • ½ ounce honey syrup 
  • 5 dashes aromatic bitters 

Instructions: Combine all ingredients, except bitters, in a cocktail shaker with ice Shake to chill and combine the ingredients Fill hurricane glass with crushed ice (or highball) Float aromatic bitters over the top of the cocktail Garnish & Enjoy! 


D’USSÉ Frosé

Ingredients:

  • 1 oz D’USSÉ VSOP Cognac
  • 3 oz Maison Marcel Rosé (or another French off-dry Rosé)
  • ½ oz Simple Syrup
  • 2 Fresh Strawberries
  • 2 Cubes Fresh Watermelon
  • 1 Cup Ice

Instructions: Add all ingredients into a blender, blend until frothy. If needed, add water for a smoother texture. Pour into a stemless wine glass. Garnish with strawberry and lemon


Spiced Sour

Ingredients:

  • 1 ½  oz Egan’s Vintage Grain
  • ½  oz fresh lemon juice
  • ½ oz fresh blood orange juice 
  • ½ oz Cinnamon/Clove Rich Simple*
  • The white of one egg 

Instructions: Combine all ingredients in a shaker. Dry shake until pressure changes, add ice and hard shake until fluffy. Double strain into a large coupe. Garnish with chocolate bitters in a pretty design and\or a dried blood orange round balanced on the rim. Bonus content: Make a rich infused syrup by adding 2 cinnamon sticks and 4-6 whole cloves to the water and leave them in until the finished syrup comes to room temperature.


Proper Peaches

Ingredients:

  • 2 parts Proper No. Twelve Irish Whiskey
  • 1/2 part simple syrup
  • 1 peach, diced
  • 3-4 mint leaves
  • Splash of soda water

Instructions: Muddle peaches, simple syrup & mint leaves in a shaker. Add Proper No. Twelve and fill shaker with ice. Strain into rocks glass over fresh ice. Top with a splash of soda water. Garnish with mint leaves and a peach slice


1800 Beachy Keen

Ingredients:

  • 2 oz. 1800 Silver
  • ½ oz. fresh lemon juice
  • ¾ oz. peach nectar 
  • 3 oz. ginger beer

Instructions: Combine tequila, lemon juice and peach nectar in a cocktail shaker and shake with ice. Strain over fresh ice in a Collins glass and top with ginger beer. Garnish with a peach slice. 


Martini Royale

Ingredients

  • 1oz. Martini & Rossi Bianco
  • 1oz. Martini & Rossi Prosecco
  • ½ oz Lime Juice
  • 1/4 oz Simple Syrup

Instructions: Pour ingredients directly on the rocks. Garnish with a mint and lime wheel.


Seagram’s Sweet Tea Arnold Palmer

Ingredients:

  • 2 ounces of Seagram’s Sweet Tea Vodka
  • 4 ounces of Lemonade
  • Garnish with Mint and Lemons

Instructions: Combine Seagram’s Sweet Tea Vodka and Lemonade over ice in a highball glass. Stir then garnish with mint and lemon.


Bombay Summer Punch

Ingredients:

  • ¾ Part Bombay Sapphire Gin
  • ¼ part St-Germain Elderflower Liqueur
  • ½ part Noilly Prat Original Dry Vermouth
  • 4 parts ginger ale
  • Lime, mint, and ginger to garnish

Instructions: Combine Bombay Sapphire, St-Germain, vermouth, and Ginger Ale. Stir to combine. Serve over cubed ice in a balloon or highball glass.


Frozen Gin & Tonic

Ingredients:

  • 1 750ml Bombay Sapphire Gin
  • 80 oz. Fever Tree Tonic Water
  • 34 oz. Filtered Water
  • 17 oz. Lime Cordial
  • 6 oz. Grapefruit Juice
  • 6 oz. Lemon Juice

Instructions: Place all ingredients into a blender with ice & mix up. Garnish with a grapefruit and lime slice.
