While cognac and rye whiskey come together deliciously to flavor up this boozy combo, the real star is the banana syrup. The delicious spice of the rye is mellowed out, yet still lingers at the end of every sip, reminding you it’s there.

Recipe
1 ounce Cognac VS
1 ounce Rye Whiskey
¾ ounce Banana Syrup
3 dashes Angostura Bitters
Method
Combine all ingredients in a mixing glass with ice
Stir for approximately 30 seconds to chill and combine ingredients
Strain into a double old-fashioned glass over fresh ice
Garnish with a banana slice and edible flower
Serves one
